Comment:

 To bundle Akismet in some countries involves legal issues regarding the
 storing of sensible data of users. And, furthermore, not make sense to
 include a plugin that requires a registration in a third party service.

 Is a comparative grievance with other plugin developers and companies.

 We all love Automattic and Matt involvement with WordPress but this is an
 incongruity and must be excluded for future releases ASAP
