 Two years ago the admin menu was increased by width by 10 pixels,
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/25918. More and more strings gets
 translated, which causes the menu to be too small:

 I would suggest to make the menu variable in width, so it can take the
 space needed for translated menu items.
