Comment:

 This is looking pretty good.

 Unfortunately, as I suspected, we're going to need to refresh for [29220].
 The patch mostly applies, but hits JS errors in both modal and grid.

 I know we're going to  need to sync the css and js for columns-per-row, as
 we now have arrow-key navigation that relies on that. Will also need to
 see how some of the auto-focusing works with this - most likely will want
 to auto-trigger edit mode.

 Any reason for removing the animation into edit mode (the transition on
 .media-sidebar)? We could just toggle display instead of hiding off-screen
 to the right (right: 100%/0) if we don't want an animation, although I
 like it because it feels more in alignment with desktop  view, seeing it
 come from the right.
