 I think it would actually be better not to have a cancel button - if they
 want to go keep the current setting they should be able to tap the
 selected item again to close the menu. Simpler that way.

 Per IRC, I was starting to look at options for hiding the sidebar - should
 I continue working on that or do you want to? I'm thinking an "Edit
 Details" button in the toolbar (next to the insert button) would work best
 in conjunction with being able to multi-select, and considering
 melchoyce's mockups.
