 Only thing I'll point out is that if the line preceding the doc block is
 at the same level of indentation, then there should be a blank line. It
 happens a lot throughout this file. No pressing need to fix it for now as
 it's pretty tedious; I was going to write a script to clean this up post
 3.9.

 I'm fine with this patch, including the few code changes.
