 I worry about this for 2 reasons:

 1) It will add complexity to an already cluttered UI[[BR]]
 2) I'm not convinced that 80% of users will find this essential
 functionality.

 For these reasons, I'd vote to keep "batch menu item actions" as a great
 idea for a plugin, but not a perfect fit for core.

 I also feel like this is a great idea for a plugin, but overkill for core.

 In the end, my goal is to have menus
 [http://wordpress.org/about/philosophy/#clean clean, lean, and mean] for
 the majority of users.  But that doesn't mean that they can't be extended
 for additional use cases.
