Comment:

 SimplePie is an external library, so your best bet would be to report
 these issues upstream: https://github.com/simplepie/simplepie/. We use
 their stable (and legacy) 1.2 branch, so I would not be surprised to find
 most of this fixed in the master 1.3-dev branch.
