 Fair point, but I think they were being pragmatists instead of ideologues.
 My understanding is that the goal wasn't to enable patents so much but
 rather explicitly recognize the reality of patents and to minimize their
 impact by the license termination upon lawsuit.

 I know we rarely agree on anything, but I really do not see how Apache 2.0
 is anything but positive regarding patents.

 The reality is that any discussion on trac that involves selected topics
 will always require chatting with you.  Just sayin...
