 @wds-chris: could you provide a bit more background on the problem that
 this is solving? I've tested Twenty Ten's menus with combinations of all-
 short, all-long, and mixed-length menu and submenu names. Could you let me
 know a bit more about what you're seeing, and maybe include a screenshot?
