 Firstly, I am using an In-Development theme (Twenty Ten) within a Beta
 version of Wordpress, so it is unclear where the problem resides. I
 essentially am using two unstable products.

 #1.Although I have deactivated comments, the 'Leave a Comment' link
 persists, and is clickable. It takes you to a post page. It should read
 "comments closed" once disabled NOT "leave a comment".

 #2.My trackback link is not displayed despite trackbacks and pings being
 enabled.

 I posted this query in the Forums and was advised to place a bug ticket
 since I am working with two unstable products.
