Excuse me for being a retard, but can't one use the $session array to
store stuff?
We need a message api.
addErrorMessage(message);
addInfoMessage('The plugin has been activated.');
addErrorMessage(__('Your post is too long!', PLUGINNAME));

echo 'doing stuff';
else
