does offer contextualized display -

contextualised display is important, even though a lot can be done with
CSS/JS, if needed, of course.
While I like the idea of contextual display, and I have a good idea for
how that could be integrated into the system, I have to say that it's a
low priority for 3.0. We're focusing on getting the most essential
functionality working first in addition to making sure the menu is
accessible, before adding things like that into core. I will however keep
this in mind for a possible 3.1 inclusion.
