 I see your point, but unfortunately amusement isn't enough of a reason.
 I'm sure Matt has other reasons for keeping the plugin but one of which is
 probably amusement too :-)

 The real issue here should probably be in another trac ticket, which
 already exists: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/11538

 But as you see, it's listed as wontfix. Plus this trac ticket seems more
 satirical and hasty :-)
