Comment(by mikeschinkel):
First chance in a while I've had to really look at this lately. The
additions for custom post types in 3.0 are brilliant; they transform
WordPress; kudos!
I have a few questions/concerns (some which may already have been
addressed):
* If a post type supports 'page-attributes' shouldn't it use a page
template instead of a post template?
* Shouldn't 'page-attributes' be more granular, i.e. 'parent-page',
'template', and 'menu-order?'
* Is there a way when registering the post type to change the slugs for a
custom post type, i.e. if a parent page and slug for a custom post type of
"car" are "Car" and "car" then "/car/mustang" is inconsistent and a site
owner might want it to be "/cars/mustang."
* Shouldn't a post be able to define a page as it's parent?
* A nit on the (page) Attributes metabox; shouldn't the descriptions be
collapsable to allow users to recover vertical screen space?
'''There's also a bug I found:''' When a custom type supports 'page-
attributes' WordPress doesn't seem respect the selected page template and
instead loads single.php.
