 @Ryan - when the user goes into the menu option for the first time no menu
 is displayed although it was created. I think it tracks back to the term
 caching where it looks like the first call to get the menu terms gets an
 empty set & the second call gets the empty set from cache. I wasn't sure
 where the cache clearing should be handled (ex. wp_insert_term), so I
 didn't attempt to fix.
