 What version are you testing under?

 What superglobal is lighttpd not setting? ($_REQUEST or $_GET? how about
 $_POST?)

 Should WordPress work around a major bug in Lighttpd+PHP which renders 90%
 of web apps not useable? (given previous stables have obviously worked)
