Comment:

 When an image is reused (added in another post) it will be inserted with
 the same settings like the first time it was used. This seems to be the
 expected behaviour.

 If any of the settings need to be changed, like caption, alt text, link,
 alignment, etc. the image can be edited from the Edit Image popup on per
 post basis.

 Having a checkbox to not insert a caption despite that a caption has been
 entered in the field seems contra-intuitive.
