 But I think this misses SVN externals (namely, Akismet).  So to properly
 diff everything you'd do:

 {{{mkdir wp205
 mkdir wp211
 svn export --force http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/tags/2.0.5/ wp205
 svn export --force http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/tags/2.1.1/ wp211
 diff -ur wp205 wp211 > upgrade.diff
 rm -rf wp205 wp211}}}

 Although it's easy enough to just upgrade Akismet independently.

 Also note that you can use {{{svn export}}} to upgrade an existing
 install, even if the existing install was originally uploaded via FTP:
 It'll only touch core WP files (although it '''never hurts to do a
 backup''')
