[wp-testers] rc2 and rc3 doesn't add extra classes to comments

Then yeah, it's time to create a trac ticket for it.

If you've tried all possible options and it's happening on the twentyten 
theme and you're sure the post author is the same as the comment author 
then, yeap, you've checked everything and a ticket is the way to go now.
