[wp-testers] Export bugs

The error occured for me with importing in WP3.0b1, adding some  
pages, posts and comments, upgrading to WP3.0b2 and then exporting  
XML and then importing to a new WP3.0b2 fresh install. Is that what  
you tried? It looks like your first scenerio below is that. I have  
not tried anything with 2.9. I'm on a relatively slow connection so  
each pass takes a long time.

My files were 12.3MB and 12.8MB, so about 13MB.

Sounds like I need to try it again and hopefully it was some sort of  
error although none was given by WP. If timeout was the problem then  
maybe it will do it right the next time. What is the best way for me  
to delete all the posts and comments? I can just destroy the install  
and start from scratch.
