[wp-testers] Error on automatic update

I started getting this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to  
allocate 242766 bytes) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-admin/includes/ 
class-pclzip.php on line 4067

on automatic core update at version 2.7-beta1-9493. Does anyone know  
why that would suddenly start happening?

using PHP 5.2.6, MySQL 5.0.51a-community, and apache 1.3.41 (Unix) on  
Liquid Web dedicated.
