Ok 1. I hate where the categories are..

2. Why is wordpress rewriting my links?!

When I put a link in my post to an image on my site, like so:

<a href='http://domain.com/journal/uploads/empty-hole.jpg'

It gets rewritten when I save/publish the post, like so:

<a href='http://domain.com/archives/2008/03/empty-hole/empty-hole/'

Please tell me this is a bug. Nothing will stop me from using wp
faster than wp thinking it knows where I want my links to go.
