When I click on "Manage" then click on "Drafts," if I want to filter my drafts by category I click on the "View all categories" drop down box. The categories are listed, BUT in parenthesis is the number of PUBLISHED posts in that category. Not the number of drafts. Not a huge deal, but rather confusing at first.
