I just upgraded to the new Safari 3.1 and I'm using wp.org r7379. Unable to reproduce any problems with inserting audio, a URL, or using Spell check. Can you upgrade to 3.1 and see if the problems continue? I'm also unable to reproduce the FF3b4 problem with Spell Checker. It spins for a little, but comes right out and shows me the incorrect words.
