[wp-testers] Testers wanted: Plugin update testing

I just tried out the automatic plugin updater using the latest nightly
build [10-Mar-2008 05:30] from [http://static.wordpress.org/builds/]
and the plugin disappeared...

I installed Akismet and changed the version header manually, went to
the plugins page and selected "upgrade automatically" and was directed
to the update page.

All seemed to go well, I was given the messages:

Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/akismet.zip
Unpacking the update
Removing the old version of the plugin
Installing the latest version
Plugin upgraded successfully

However, when I went back to the plugins page, Akismet was nowhere to
be seen. And when I checked my plugins directory, the files had been
removed from there.

PHP version: 5.2.5
mySQL version: 4.1.22
