One argument could be for user preference in setting it -- on, off, or once
an hour? -- or another argument could be that someone put it there and there
was no issue.

I'd like to see it save every two minutes, as that's what I have all my
default autosave times set to for everything else. Once a minute is overkill
for most thing. Even at my typing speed -- when really productive and have a
well planned idea, at 103 words per minute -- is just overkill.  Saving
because 100 words were typed?  Nah.  A couple or few hundred, sure.
