Speaking personally, I cut my CSS teeth using Kubrick and it wasn't
an easy experience. Yes, it's quite attractive and distinctive but
it's use of images is totally confusing to a beginner and reading the
support forums they are filled with people wanting to change column
widths etc., not understanding how to - and getting frustrated. OK -
so most of these migrate to another theme but many, many want to
master the CSS and just give up. A simplified version - with fluid
columns, and comments in the CSS to help beginners understand how it
all works would be a boon. Just about everybody wants to make some
changes to whatever theme they are using and it would help if the
default were logical and understandable, and Kubrick doesn't fill
that need.
