Jason,
Relative path is a regular way to insert stuff (am I wrong ?) and i
allow me to change my weblog domain in case (it will be the case as I
will switch from a peronal name url to a more imporsonal one)
Se for example :
http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/struct/objects.html
(it's for HTML 401 I diodn't find the corresponding XHTML text) among
the examples is :
-----
<BODY>
<P>
<IMG src="sitemap.gif"
alt="HP Labs Site Map"
longdesc="sitemap.html">
</BODY>
---------
So perhaps strip_tags is not the right suggestion, but thefact is in
this case the next would need to be processed before senting if to the
RSS file
