Just FYI,
I found I didn't update the line below:

<?php include (TEMPLATEPATH . "/searchform.php"); ?>
at L.37 in
http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/theme/tags/2.8/index.php

It must be
<?php get_search_form(); ?>

So, I've revised
http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/theme/trunk/index.php
http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/theme/branches/2.8/index.php
