[wp-polyglots] Localized Gravatar site?

saw it for the first time in October, but this page (
http://boomerang.nc/20080701/un-gravatar-cest-quoi-exactement/ ) from July
1. linked to it. There are plenty of French sites that link to it

I thought that there is only English version. Any explanation on this,
