Hello folks,

I'm brand new to the list and to the WP localization process. I intend to be
working with Ndesanjo Macha (http://digitalafrica.blogspot.com/) on a
Kiswahili (Swahili - Tanzania) version. Is anyone aware of existing work in
this language?

Also, are there important references that I should be aware of besides the
main codex page?

That is, < http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language >

One last question: how difficult is it to get a translation working? I have
experience with Wordpress and php, and I'm working with a
Kiswahili-bilingual (fluent) partner. Should we expect 2 weeks development
or 6 months?

Thanks!
