It should use a text domain as the second argument in the _e() and __()
calls and use its own .mo file, either in wp-content/plugins or in the
subdirectory of the plugin. You can tell which by looking at the second
argument to the load_plugin_textdomain() call in the plugin code (it
must have one to load the mo file).
