If I translated WP 1.5 into Icelandic in poEdit (file=is_IS.po), how do I
update to 1.5.1.2 without having to start from scratch? How do I use the
older translation for the newest version of WP?
Greetings,
Bryn

" It doesn't work so as Fira explained in that mail I have added this line to the index.php file of the theme where the string I want to translate is used: It returns to me and error in the wp-i10n.php file where that function is defined, because as you can see, it needs a parameter with something called domain: function load_theme_textdomain($domain) { $locale = get_locale(); $mofile = get_template_directory() . "/$locale.mo"; load_textdomain($domain, $mofile); } So I have done some chances calling the function with parameters like '', 'default', 0, '0', null, $domain, $uri['host'], ... but nothing works. I think wordpress doesn't load the mo file :( Can someone explain me how to localize a theme? If this is the way, can someone help me with any tip or advice that let me continue searching? And we are making some not using the internazionalization function using them making available the italian translation , the .pot files and the modified files. Today we are realesing the theme almost spring, you can download it at www.wordpress-it.it/temi-italiani, the packgae includes: - the theme files with code correction for localization - the .pot file - the italian .mo and .po files I think the right palace for that files should be the new theme page at wordpress.org, if someone let me know to who email it it would be apreciated. -- Stefano Aglietti - StallonIt on IRCnet - ICQ#: 2078431 Email: steagl@people.it - steagl@despammed.com BlogPage: http://www.40annibuttati.it/ PGP keys available on keyservers (cripted & signed PGP mail welcome)
