Would it be possible to agree on a character set used in the
translation project, and then convert the message to use entities when
compiling the distributed po file?
I'm asking because there is a fair number of accented characters in
Finnish, and typing them in using entities instead of just pressing
the appropriate key on the keyboard, is quite awkward. I feel that
using the computer instead of the human to do the necessary conversion
would be much more efficient.
