[wp-hackers] Allow users to upload their own images - hook to use?

I would LOVE to do that haha.  I just need some type of reference back to
the attachment for obvious reasons.  But how can I get the post ID when it
has not been generated until after form submit?  Maybe a session? How would
that look written?
