It is difficult to recommend any ticket in Trac for you because we don't know your specific skillset.

I'd suggest finding a bug that you know needs a patch, it could be something as simple as a spelling mistake. The key thing here is that whatever it is that needs patching it is something you know needs a patch and that you have the patch that is needed.

Once you have a couple of patches under your belt and have a good feel of the processes involved then you can start working on bigger and better patches in your areas of expertise.
