I wish Apple would weigh in on this.
When you see what Firebug can reveal, it's wierd that all theme development isn't live.
We should be developing themes like painting, or image manipulation in photoshop.

>> This is regarding the idea discussed earlier about the wordpress theme editor. I have made some changes and added new functionality to my previous version. The editor is now able to save the changes made back to the server. Also i have resolved a lot of issues with the CSS rules. You can read the updates in detail in this blog post: http://ankuranand.in/blog/2012/03/update-2-added-save-functionality/.

>>> I am Ankur Anand, a student from India.. While working on the theme for my blog, i thought of an idea to provide a 'Design in the Browser' approach to designing or customizing a Wordpress theme.
>>> The idea is to use a Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/)/Firefox Inspect (http://blog.mozilla.com/blog/2012/01/31/firefox-adds-powerful-new-developer-tools/) interface to make changes to the CSS of the elements loaded, and then upload the changes back to the server. The main idea is to provide a tool which lets us edit the CSS Live in the browser and then save the changes.
>>> Here is the overview of the idea : http://ankuranand.in/blog/2012/02/rethinking-wordpress-theme-editor/.
>>> Also, i have added mockups and detailed explanation of the idea and the features. http://ankuranand.in/blog/2012/02/rethinking-wordpress-theme-editor-part-2/.
>>> I have already started working on the project, and needed suggestions from the community members over the design, features and implementation of the idea.I wanted to do this as a Google Summer of Code project.
