[wp-hackers] absolute URLs in plug-ins and custom types

absolute vs relative urls again? :D

quick question, does any one know how other systems go around this issue 
dev -> testing -> deploy successfully?

Also, isn't this something that can be created as a plugin (sort of like 
a proof of concept) and see how it goes?

Create a plugin that automatically converts absolute urls to that 
shortcoded url. Let it run for a few months, see what headaches you go 
through and let us know how it goes :)
