[wp-hackers] Install WordPress Single-Site outside Multi-Site Environment

Greetings,

I normally develop my clients' sites as sub-sites on my own multi-site
installation. However, I recently started a project for a client using the
Limon<http://themeforest.net/item/limon-a-restaurant-and-spa-wordpress-theme/610441>premium
theme from
ThemeForest<http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fthemeforest.net%2F&ei=vaE7UPbpMIXUiwL8kYE4&usg=AFQjCNFnRgHGLALKi4NkGvMkq_53_lH98Q&sig2=m8lmgjZ6ifODvZA1k5imhA>.
After struggling for nearly a week trying to configure it, then working
with its developers for another week trying to figure out what the problem
was, they finally informed me that the Limon theme does not play nicely
with the sub-site of a Multi-site install. Dang. I'm new-ish to the
multi-site, so am not entirely sure how it affects the rest of my hosting
environment. I used the subdomain configuration (as opposed to sub-folders)
and set my host (Bluehost) to accept wildcard domains. So here's my
question, is it ok to just install another single-site in a completely
separate host directory than my multi-site?

Thanks,

Jason Chafin
