[wp-hackers] Trouble With Custom Sidebars

Works for me in twentyeleven.

I created a copy of sidebar.php as sidebar-test.php and added a big h1 this
is the test sidebar /h1

In copied page.php  as page-myslug.php and added a call to
get_sidebar('test')

I viewed the page with 'myslug' and only my 'this is the test sidebar'
showed up.

Have you registered another widget area and referenced that in your new
sidebar-custom.php? Is a plugin trying to dynamically change which widget
area is shown?

TBH, this kind of request is more at home in the support forum.
