[wp-hackers] page not found when clicking on categories

Hi,

I get 404 page not found errors when clicking on my categories in a jobs theme I'm using. The original developer is AWOL on themeforest. What could possibly explain that the categories exist, but I get the 404 error? I just need a few pointers, so I can try to troubleshoot the issue.

It happens whether on the frontend or the backend.

I tried updating the permalinks structure. No change.
