Thanks for your answer, Ozh. But sadly that's not a solution. The problem 
remains, as the "workaround" only tells me to give my plugin a higher 
priority (and overruling other plugins is not my intention). As I don't know 
of a real solution myself, I opened a trac ticket<http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/18406>for further discussions.
