[wp-hackers] Plugin Authors would love the ability to change the status of topics in their corresponding WP.org Forums Tag

As a plugin author, it would be great to be able to mark topics as 
Resolved or Not a Support Question, but that seems to only be available 
for a short period of time after a topic has started, after it's gone on 
for a while (not sure the length of time) it doesn't allow for us to 
update it.

What (if anything) is being done on the forums to give plugin authors 
more motivation to use the WP.org Forums Tag actively for supporting 
their plugin?
