[wp-hackers] Default image link type

The default WP behavior of inserting a link to the image is a scourge upon
the face of the internet. On all kinds of different sites I click on images
that are links only to be taken to the exact same small image, a flat out
error made by many/most WP bloggers because of the default settings and lack
of an option to change them.

I think the installed-default should be no link unless the user pushes one
of the link buttons to paste one in. There should also be a setting in media
options to change the default.

I have used the 'image_default_link_type' option on 2.9 and setting it to
empty has the right effect of making the default link nothing (though it can
take some refreshing before it works that way i think because of js
caching). You can access it from /wp-admin/options.php (hidden list of all
options) to avoid editing the database directly.
