[wp-hackers] New file-based cache

Hi,

I've put my preposition for a new file-based cache in a trac ticket, please
review and comment -- I'd like to hear what you think about it:

The solution that I am proposing lacks the extensive file-system reads and
writes, it hijacks on PHP's own functionality and unlike the mem-based
solution currently in WP it is persistent.
