[wp-hackers] related post based on the date it was published ?

I was just asking if anyone knew of a way to relate posts by  the date they
were published.
I've searched extensively for leads and haven't seen any material on this
way of grouping posts.There are published,proven ways and plugins to relate
posts by content,title or tags but not by similar time and date unless you
use custom fields but that would mean adding custom fields to already
published posts and would be a lot of work.The one thing these posts have in
common is they were all published at the same time. I'm not an expert and
that is why I came here. It isn't exactly a support question because it
isn't about a particular plugin or a problem I am having getting wordpress
to work. I guess I should not have mentioned a plugin.
