I just ran the current trunk version of that page through the w3c validator and all it complains about is "autocomplete"

I even tried creating a post with unmatched <p> and one with unmatched </p> and tried both normal and excerpt views and still couldn't reproduce.

So I guess this is a plugin causing this.
