small idea, it is possible to add a backend for the exists revisions-post_type
It is possible to overwrite the core-function to add this type.

Maybe i will use the revisions to vie all revisions in the extra
frontend and extra backend area. I think, it was small code for use
this post-type with the default functions for custom post type.
