OP mailapera and I emailed off list (after he was told to go away) and it
turned out it was an issue with a plugin, the 404 was not caused by
upgrading to WordPress 3.0 and any "bugs" were with the redirection plugin
not being de activated while he was trying to troubleshoot the problem.
