I'm not quite sure what you are planning to do with your virtual pages, but
your Use Case sounds similar to what the WP-eCommerce plugin does.  

 

If you install it, create a few products and take a look at how it uses
virtual product pages based upon a product page template, you may find it
suits your needs.  Then you can take a look at the source code and see how
they did it.
